Performance

The new Forester comes with a standard 2.5-liter BOXER® engine that produces 182 horsepower and 176 pound-feet of torque. The Lineartronic® CVT also comes standard for the right gear ratio at the right time. This transmission comes with a seven-speed manual mode for select trim levels and Adaptive Control. The Forester can also tow up to 1,500 pounds for more utility on adventures.
