What's New for the 2021 Subaru Ascent?
Although the Ascent is still early in its first generation, the model nevertheless receives a few significant upgrades for the new model year. While adaptive cruise control has always been standard, the 2021 model year swaps out the previous version for the new Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control. Now with Lane-Centering technology, the new system adds steering assistance to keep Ascent in the middle of its lane.
Steering-Responsive LED Headlights are also standard for 2021. These advanced headlights, which were optional on previous models, turn with the steering wheel to provide better low-light visibility around curves and corners. Additionally, the Ascent also comes standard with a system that automatically controls the high beams to accommodate oncoming and leading vehicles.
